With over thirty years as a regular favourite on the UK acoustic scene, we are amazed here at Seven Live that he’s never graced our stage before. His latest hot-off-the-press album “We All Share The Same Sky” sees Jon in top form. This is surely one of the finest Yorkshire based contemporary folk singer songwriters working today.
“The perfect package.” – Gregson Lane Folk Club
“Powerful and charismatic.” – Coppull Folk Festival
“We were blown away.” – Sale Folk Club
We are delighted that this singer and pianist is making a return to Seven Live this July. Engaging and entertaining, with bags of finesse and nuance, his blend of original material and well chosen cover versions make him a perfect start to this laid back summer special. After the resounding success of his 2017 album “Ric Neale does Pet Sounds”, he has now completed his new autobiographical record for 2018, “Lullabies For Parents”.
